Let’s press on with this cruise recap, shall we?
After a quite laid back day in Haiti, Steph and I were ready for some adventure in Jamaica!
We met up with our tour group and were whisked away for our excursion: zip lining! I unfortunately don’t have any pictures, as we were instructed to lock up our cameras before the course. However I would definitely recommend zip lining to everyone; it’s very safe and such fun to feel like you are flying! Our course was made up of eight traverses, including one straight drop down. Afterwards Steph and I celebrated with a refreshment:
A traditional Jamaican lunch of jerk chicken with rice and beans was served, followed by a short bus ride to our next stop: Dunn’s River Falls.
The falls extend over 600 feet, and you are able to climb the entire thing along with your group and a guide!
We then headed back to the ship to get ready for dinner.
That night we partook in the 70’s dance party on the Royal Promenade! Such fun!
Dinner included a chilled melon soup that was fantastic.
After dinner Steph and I enjoyed drinks at the Champagne and Cocktail Bar, which served sweet treats along with our beverages.
We stopped in one of the lounges to take a peek of what was going on….
….and I just had to bust a move!
Once we got back to the room we were ecstatic to see our latest towel animal!
The next day was an at sea day, and thank goodness the sun was out! Most of the day was spent with the following view:
After lounging around all day we got gussied up for our second formal night! I snapped a picture of Central Park from our room before we headed down for a little photo shoot.
We then went to the deck to see the sun set!
Dinner included our absolute favorite dish: escargot!
Another night, another towel animal. We went to bed, ready for our last port the following day: Mexico!
