Happy Friday, and a very Happy Fourth of July! Yay, America! I’m linking up with Lauren Elizabeth on ‘High for Friday’ for today’s ‘Obsessed’ post. Each week I’ll round up my favorite finds from the week that I am obsessed with and share them with you!
1. Pippa Speaks!
Pippa Middleton sat down with Matt Lauer for her first ever television interview, which aired this week in two parts on The Today Show, and I’m obsessed. I absolutely adore the Royals, and that for sure includes Ms. Middleton. I was a bit surprised when I first heard that Pippa agreed to an interview (and on American TV at that); honestly I was (and am still a bit) shocked that the palace would allow it.
Watching this interview (find the first full clips here and hope that the internet nerds add the second part soon!) I was immediately struck by how well spoken Pippa is during the entire thing.
One of my favorite parts is when Pippa talks about the wedding; the fact that she says it was viewed just as a family wedding made me tear up a bit because of course that’s how they viewed it! When she talked about making sure she helped “my sister” whenever she needed help, I really smiled.
2. Wayfaring
I’m obsessed with this fun new adventure that’s happening during the month of July! Malcolm Freeburg, dreamboat and all star Survivor player just set off on a choose-your-own-adventure trip across the US. Every day followers at home will vote via social media on what Malcolm and his team should do. An episode showing the events will be available the next day. And so on and so forth for 20 days!
Malcolm is hilarious and I’m so excited to watch his journey. Plus it’s so much fun to get to be a part of deciding the team’s rumpus for the day. Follow on twitter here and here.
3. The Skimm
Thanks to Belle over at Capitol Hill Style, I just signed up for daily emails from The Skimm and am obsessed. Each weekday a newsletter is sent to you via email with the news highlights. Not only is this a handy way to get all the important news in one place, it is also written in a way that makes it understandable and enjoyable to digest.
