Saturday in Music City

After breakfast we headed to the Nashville Public Library to take a peek around.

The coolest part? An outside garden in the middle of the library!

Next up was a tour of the Ryman Auditorium. The Ryman is well seeped in Nashville’s entertainment history, having hosted some of the biggest names in country music over the years. The auditorium first opened in 1892 and was the original home of the Grand Ole Opry. In 2001 it became a national landmark, and the Ryman has some of the best acoustics in the world. Although I am not a country music fan, it was fascinating to tour the auditorium and learn about all the amazing events that have taken place here over the years!

We then headed to Merchants for lunch.

Duck fat tater tots-

Grilled salmon BLT-

Turkey club-

BBQ pulled pork-

Merchants is located on Broadway Street and offers a great opportunity to people watch as you eat!
