At the end of our trip to Nashville we experienced a slight changes of plans. We had originally planned to stop at the home of Andrew Jackson on our way out of town, however it was closing early due to a special Halloween event. Always the optimistic group we rallied and had our eyes open for somewhere else to explore as we drove towards home.
While Denise was asleep in the back seat, Meghan and I made the impromptu decision to stop at Mammoth Cave National Park.
It was later in the day and we couldn’t tour the caves, however we did pick a walking path to explore!
Not a bad way to conclude our trip!
