I originally planned to write this Tuesday after the movie and publish Wednesday, but I was too shook.
Spencer is a magnificent movie and a must see. The acting is outstanding. It’s hauntingly beautiful, a very real portrayal of a deeply troubled individual.
The movie has that very artsy feel, something I did not know going in. It’s quite tense, mostly due to the ominous score, and you’re on edge the whole time. It’s more so since you know Diana’s tragic end.
The movie really showcases the ridiculousness of things that are done just because they are tradition. I was never hugely into Diana but as a Royal lover I have many opinions and this added to my thoughts. I will most certainly watch this again when it streams.
