Being a Badass

I posted a few months ago defining “badass”. I really love this moniker and believe everyone can and should be a badass! I saw a recent issue of Instyle magazine with the theme of badass and hence decided to write a few posts centering around that word. So first:

What is your most badass quality?

Believing in being me, even if it means being disliked. A common trait when you’re younger is wanting to be liked, and often in my youth I held back in what I said or did in order to not cause any waves. I’m therefore really proud that I have the strength and am willing to have conflict to stay true to who I am.

I’m also proud of the fact that, while I can be quite emotional, I’m able to set emotions aside and take tough actions. I’m happy of the fact that you want me in a crisis.

Would you call yourself a badass?

Absolutely. The term badass to me is synonymous with strength and not putting up with s%*&; having a backbone and not being a pushover.
