I track the books I read on Goodreads, and I count reading cookbooks towards the total books I read in a year.
How do I define reading versus just looking through a cookbook?
I read all the stuff before the actual recipes, usually an author intro, their recommendations, etc.
Then the actual recipes. I look at each one, read the intro and then skim the ingredients and steps.
I’ve therefore looked at every page and feel ok counting it as a read book.
